MULCAHYS HILL Wins At Cheltenham

MULCAHYS HILL

The fantastic MULCAHYS HILL gave us all something to smile about in the rain on Friday, by winning the 3m novice chase at Cheltenham. He was up against some classy competition at the home of jumps racing and it was a big ask for him as the last time he ran was when he fell at the Festival in the gruelling 4m Amateur race. But MULCAHYS HILL proved how mentally tough he is and put in a foot perfect performance and looked to be the winner throughout the whole contest. He was given a great ride by Adrian Heskin who got him into a nice rhythm from the get go. The infamous hill saw a brilliant battle between MULCAHYS HILL and the very accomplished Wholestone of Nigel Twiston-Davies. The pair fought all the way to the line with our lad winning by a neck. We have always put this horse in very high regard and he has been running in some big races against some tough competition. This is his first win since his bumper career and it is wonderful to get his head back in front after a lot of near misses. He is a very classy animal and we are very pleased for his owners’ the McNeill Family and Prodec Networks. Hopefully there is a lot more to come from this talented horse.

More Schooling

The schooling continues at our amazing facilities in Lambourn. As you can see from our entries, things are starting to get busy and we can’t wait to get these animals out onto the track.
