Conditional Jockey

Gavin Sheehan
Gavin was champion pony race rider in Ireland. After completing a successful period with Charlie Mann he joined us in August 2014.  He is a great horseman with a natural talent and an asset to the team.  He won the Conditional Jockey's Title in his first season for us and has a bright future.

Conditional Jockey

Conor Walsh
After the success of Gavin last season, I was keen to find another young conditional to fill his position.  I had put the feelers out in Ireland and was advised to watch Conor.  He had worked for Jim Bolger which is a great place to learn and then went to Paul Nolans where he gained further experience.  He has had over 100 rides and has ridden 6 winners.  This is great as he has experience but still has alot of his claim left.  He can also claim easily off the minuimun weight.   He has been here a few weeks and has settled in very well. He rides well and works hard.  He has done plenty of schooling for me already and seems very accomplished.  he has big boots to fill but if he keeps his head down, there will be plenty of opportunities for him.
