Closing Stages Of The Season

End Of The Season

As we enter the closing stages of the season we want to thank everyone for their continued support.  Our owners and staff have been fantastic this year and we are truly grateful to all of them. We have gained new staff and owners and it is wonderful to have new faces attached to the yard and we hope they will stay with us for many years to come.

As this season comes to an end so does a chapter of our story so far. Our move from Uplands to Rhonehurst brings us a fresh start for next season and we are really looking forward to it. Uplands has been a huge part of our career so far and it will always hold many special memories but the move to Rhonehurst is the next natural step in our journey and we hope it will help us to progress on to bigger and better things.

Rhonehurst already holds many special memories for Warren and Tessa and many of those are due to the wonderful time they had there with Oliver Sherwood. He taught Warren so much and we would like to wish him well in his move to Neardown Stables.

We would also like to wish Charlie Mann a very happy retirement. He is a great character and will be missed hugely on the gallops in the mornings.

We would also like to thank our new sponsors 1account Age Verification for their continued support of us this season and into the next.

We have some very nice horses running this week and hopefully we can get a win or two on the board before Sunday. Looking ahead to next season we have a lot to look forward to with some great horses, owners and staff and we cannot wait to see what the 2021/22 season brings.

Lorna Brooke

We are terribly sad to learn about the passing of Lorna Brooke today after her fall at Taunton a couple of weeks ago. She was a passionate and caring horsewoman who loved our sport and the animals involved in it. She will be very sorely missed by all.
