MIGHTY BANDIT WINS AT DONCASTER

MIGHTY BANDIT is marking himself as a useful chaser after justifying his 6/5F odds on Saturday in the Virgin Bet Handicap Chase (Class 2) (0-150) over 2 miles. Partnered by James Bowen, the pair led from flag fall and Mighty Bandit attacked all his obstacles with his ears pricked. Bar one mistake at the third- last the pair had a faultless round of jumping, and Mighty Bandit kept on strongly up the home straight to bound home 8 lengths ahead of his nearest rival.

It is great to see Mighty Bandit going from strength to strength since switching to the bigger obstacles, and there is plenty more to come from this progressive 6-year-old who seems to have found his calling in life. Well done to owners Jim and Claire, who have always liked this horse and are now reaping the rewards of their patience.
