ARMY BUGLER WINS AT LEICESTER

ARMY BUGLER is our first 2 year old WINNER of the season!

Last Thursday saw Army Bugler head to Leicester to run in the EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes over 5 furlongs.
This was only Army Bugler’s third racecourse appearance, having shown great improvement and potential between his first two runs, we were pretty confident he would be hard to beat this time- and he did not disappoint!

Ridden by Eddy Greatrex, Army Bugler jumped well out of the stalls and the pair were prominently positioned throughout the race, leading easily with 2 furlongs to go. When being pressed by their rivals inside the final furlong, Army Bugler put his head down and showed a great attitude to fend off his challengers and WIN by a neck!

This 2-year-old colt is a smart son of Soldier’s Call and we are excited to announce he is now FOR SALE! He is sure to have an exciting future as a 2-year-old and beyond and will be plenty of fun for his new owners.

Over the summer you will see a few of our 2-year-olds running in the Rhonehurst Stables ownership, which is a new initiative we have set up- all horses running in the ownership will be FOR SALE so keep your eyes peeled and grab a bargain before anyone else does!
