| This sunny Bank Holiday Monday saw Heneryetta Bay head to Huntingdon to run in the Racing TV Mares’ Handicap Chase. This winning point-to-pointer has been a little bit underwhelming over Hurdles, but since stepping up to the larger obstacles recently, has really come to her own. A quirky mare to ride both at home and on the track, Jonjo O’Neill gave her a really confident ride from the front, where she traveled and jumped brilliantly, bringing her rivals under pressure one by one, and coming home in front full of running by 3 and a half lengths!
It is really great to see this mare win for her owners The International Racing Club and Molony Racing Ltd, who bought Heneryetta from Cheltenham Tattersalls Sale in January 2022 and have given her the time to find her feet and progress, they are sure to have plenty more days of fun with her!
